I like to take away that if anybody reads this book, that it opens up conversations For the awareness, the importance of the awareness of cultural awareness.
22:03

5:07
Back in 2008, when I did publish Call of a Distant Shore, it was just soon after that I read the book, We Were Not the Savages, which is by Dr. Daniel Paul, who is a Mi'kmaq elder.

I contacted him then.
5:24
I only had brief communication with him.
5:26
I had no intention of writing this book until after I retired, which was 2018.
