The window wall ratio is the glazing percentage of the facade.

So a good way of describing this is that historic buildings, maybe some of the real historic Lodeberg buildings from hundreds of years ago, they tended to have around 20 to 30% window and about 70 to 80% wall.

And it turns out that's a little bit of a golden ratio.

With about 20 to 30% glazing, you can have very high quality daylight, you can have very minimal glare, and you can have very minimal heat gain.
