Well, let's talk about... you know, safety on a construction site, why is it so challenging to capture detailed safety observations when you're on a construction site?

Corey SilvermanGUEST
Yeah, I think there's never really been a truly efficient way to bridge the gap between making the safety observations and documenting them in a way that allows them to be aggregated and analyzed later.

Corey SilvermanGUEST
The safety professionals, the foremen, superintendents, product managers, they're all experts at this.

Corey SilvermanGUEST
The problem is documenting them effectively So if we go back in the day before my time, even when I was in the field, there was really no standardized process for documenting observations.

Corey SilvermanGUEST
And you were lucky to get them in an email, maybe an Excel file if your company was really advanced.

Corey SilvermanGUEST
And then came the development of EHS softwares, which was a major improvement for tracking and documenting inspections observations.

You and I met through the master's program at Keene State, but what it was like getting out of Keene State and, you know, getting a job in the late 2000s.

Corey SilvermanGUEST
Yeah, it was just so cool being part of a program that does such a good job of setting their students up for success after college.

Corey SilvermanGUEST
And after about a year or so, I chose history just because I enjoyed learning about it.

Corey SilvermanGUEST
And after about a year or so, I realized I don't really see a career path here.
