But then by the time we get to that death metal one shot, Cooper has been replaced by none other than Kenny Braverman, justice for conduit.

And he's the one in that convenience store owned by Laurie's parents who rips up Clark's comic.

But again, But all to say, it's like, yeah, that sort of, yeah, that Thomas and Martha moment for Prime, you know, relatively consistent across all of these stories as far as kind of what his backstory is.

Yeah.

I didn't notice anything outside of what you said with Kenny Braverman.

Yeah.

I think the other thing that struck me about DC Comics Presents is that.

of this comic book.

This is it, Kenny, just over that rise.

Kenny! Kenny in Smallville, Anthony.

We got so close to Kenny Braverman, and they didn't take us all the way there.

For anyone not familiar, I'm a big fan of the 90s triangle era villain Conduit, a.k.a. Kenny Braverman, who grew up with Clark and was jealous of him when they were youths in Smallville.

And then in the present day, he learns that Clark is Superman and his animosity grows.

And this is a character I've long advocated for.

And just that personal grudge against Clark slash Superman, his knowledge of the secret identity, I just thought very compelling.

Hmm

... school dance, and all the girls are talking to him, and clearly he's enjoying it, and then Kenny, Kenny Braverman...

So this is why, oh, I'm gonna get fired up here.

That's why when I say like, "Why didn't they use Conduit?" Clearly they knew this character-

Right

... 'cause they have Kenny Braverman.

They knew the name.

They used the name, yeah.
