I mean, what does creating an atlas of macula mean for macular disease?

That's a great question.

So we're very generously funded by the Macula Society.

Essentially, in very simple terms, you're probably aware that you could take blood to look at the blood or even a biopsy of your skin to try and understand more deeply what's going on.

But we can't do that to the eye, as you might imagine.

And so this new technique to create an atlas that we did, we used eyes.
