It's just like, I feel like we have all the heavy hitters this year, and I kinda really like that.

Yeah, I was, um, very gratified to see that Julieta, um, Pareja took a wild card because she, um, did not enter and would not have made it, um, I, I don't think, because she has also been out injured quite a bit, um, early this year.

And so, um, to, to see her back in the field is amazing.

And of course, she's, um, you know, she just qualified for Washington, um, you know, had a, had a great match with, uh, Wang, so, in the first round.

So, um, yeah, she's obviously, I would say, she's, if not a heavy favorite, a decided favorite, uh, for the title.

But I think she might've been one of the very most favorites last year, and we saw that she didn't make it out of the semifinals, which is no shame.

But, um, it was a surprise that she, uh, lost to Maya Iyengar, uh, last year when the field was really not as strong, I don't think, as it was this year, so, or it is this year.

And so with that, Colette, tell me more about your- Number one player, Jack Kennedy.

Well, I think Jack is far and away the, the biggest recruit.

I, I don't think it's particularly close, but, um, I, he, you know, Jack broke through two years ago when he made the final of Kalamazoo, um, as a 16-year-old.

So, um, he's been on the radar for a very long time, and he's been at the top of the junior game for a very long time.

Um, at least two years now, uh, um, and running, and that has never deterred him from, from wanting to play college tennis.

And once he selected Virginia, there wa- no matter what success that he's had, it's, it's never been, um, a thought that he might, um, not go.

So that's pretty refreshing in a way.

But what have you seen from Ronit Karkhi over your time in covering him in juniors?
