I was, I'd been scouting, walking, saw a gray squirrel on the ground.

I been hunting, I'd been, I had my bow with me just in case I saw a deer or a hog or something.

Middle of the day, hot, Columbus Day weekend- I draw my bow back, I shoot the squirrel with my bow, walk up to the squirrel, and I did something that I honestly don't think that I had done up until that point, and I certainly knew better, but I'd shot the squirrel right through the hips, and I left the squirrel there.

I didn't take it out.

I walk back to the truck.

Hmm

So what I did

didI went and got some camouflage, uh, nylon.

Sewed up a little hammock here.

Now you can sit in it super comfortable, can sit here for hours and hours and hours not feeling like you need to move.

Super easy just to stand right back up.

It's like a saddle, but extra big, extra comfy.

Now, when it's really cold out, went ahead and sewed up a little underquilt for it.

Mm.

Number one, we've, we've kick-started a new Bear Grease YouTube channel, and I, and I'll let Bear talk about it a little bit more in terms of content, but I'll describe it for you.

if you've been following along with us for very long, you would've known that I used to run and operate Bear Hunting Magazine.

And we started a YouTube channel in 2014, back in, like, it was almost like the prehis- history era of the Earth- [laughing] ... you know, 2014 on YouTube.

And I- w- we built that channel for eight years.

It was a lot of bear hunting, just...

There's about 70 or 80 videos on there, all kind of stuff.

You're kidding!

Can you tell us a little bit about that?

Man, on, on January the 4th...

Well, okay, Christmas Day, a buck on a place that I have access to hunt, uh, showed up, and the b- I, I...

It was one of those pictures that within seconds I was texting it to, to my father-in-law, who I stay in close touch with about deer hunting, and a couple other people, and was just gagging over this deer.

I mean, it was the biggest deer that I've seen on camera in a long, long time.

And, uh, I texted it to one of my friends, who happens to be a, a Navy pilot stationed in Hawaii named Forrest Teeter, and he goes, "Jiminy Christmas!"

That's cool

... and the deer just had giant tine length, and, uh, he, he, he was super sporadic.

I mean a baby mule.

So yeah, she's bay colored.

But I mean like the biggest thing that a mule would have would be it's sure-footedness and safety in rough country.

Like if you meet somebody with a mule you're like, "This dude's going in some rough country."

Yeah, yeah.

Like this ruh, this is a, this is a gritty American.

But mules are stubborn, they're harder to deal with than a horse, they're harder to train than a horse but if you get one trained it's better than a horse.
