How did you develop the six policy asks? Tell us about the consultation.
1:15
Yeah, so we've been at this, um, campaign for almost a year now, really going out into community and meeting with people to understand their needs, understand what they want to see from the next city council.
1:30
So through that process, we've spoken with thousands of residents.
1:34
We had a survey out in 12 languages with more than 640 responses.
1:40
We were tabling out at community events, having conversations with, uh, more than 2,400 people, and we hosted workshops with trusted community partners, from unions to social service agencies to seniors groups.
1:56
We had 530 plus participants in over 30 workshops, and really wanted to engage with folks that are often underrepresented at City Hall or whose needs are often unmet, and understand, uh, what they wanna see, what solutions they have for some of the tough challenges that we're facing.
