[laughs]

Turned into 46 phone calls a day.

One text message, "Oh, I'll be late tonight," turned into 50.

And it's like a tap being turned on.

It's slow and steady at the first, but then the tap turns full, and suddenly you're drowning in this flood of abuse, this, this flood of pain.

But you don't know how to get out of it.

[sighs] I think the catalyst was when my dad died.

[laughs]

Can we talk about the 22nd of October 2014? How did that day start out for you, Claire?

It was just a normal morning.

I took Jack to school first and I said to him, love you.

And he replied to Infinity and Beyond because Toy Story was their favourite films.

And he'd always take a look back to make sure that I was still in the car park.

But that morning, for some reason, he took an extra look back.

Then I took Paul to school and Paul was totally different, full of energy, runs down.

Whilst Claire is at the hospital by Jack's side, she is told that emergency services who arrived at the scene were told by her son Jack, my dad did this, and he did it on purpose.
