So one thing that we had mentioned, and we kind of mentioned it when you were talking about all the equipment that the dogs, you know, have to sort of get used to, but is that sort of idea of body handling and body sensitivity, and can you talk a little bit more about how that is helpful for the whole training process?

Claire LozitoGUEST
You know, body handling, again, like I kind of mentioned, will follow them kind of throughout their life, and even no matter what career path they choose, it is wanting to make sure that they're comfortable, you know, with their paws being handled, with their ears being touched, you know, maybe looking into their mouth because, again, that will become really important, right, if they're having vet checks to make sure that they're healthy.

Claire LozitoGUEST
We do our body check, and of course it even comes back into testing as well is we have a section in our obedience test that is about body handling, 'cause we do wanna make sure that these dogs are comfortable being handled no matter the situation-

We, we love that when a dog comes in and they're just like, "Yep, I'm relaxed, I feel nice and confident." And, you know, again, they're gonna be going into the vet clinic at one point or another for, you know, either ISTs when they come in from recall or even up to when they're in class.
