I, it was when we were all, all in lockdown, and I was working on my own, and actually, I should never be left on my own for too long.

I think that we should all agree that.

And we'd just built the Design Avenue, which is the, you know, the atrium that unifies the domes in Design Centre East.

And I thought, gosh, when we can all come back together again and enjoy events and, um, meet and, you know, chat and, and giggle and have fun, wouldn't it be great to actually build a long house show house in that space? And the, which would literally be the only long house show house in the world.

So I thought, well, I'm not actually going to discuss that with the team at the moment, 'cause that would send them over the edge, because we were doing all our kind of digital activations and everything.

And I thought, well, I'm, I'm gonna quietly deal with this on my own.

And are Jo Malone doing scents again?

So, I mean, tell me how you thought about all of this and how you processed it and why you wanted to participate.

Well, as you know, I'm always operating on a make-new-friends basis.

But I love the idea because, obviously, there's a lot of Americans in Paris, and it's just a short hop across the channel, and it's actually really easy to then come and immerse themselves in what's happening in London, whether it's the Design Center with... on the Pimlico Road or with the other host sponsors.

So yeah, it sort of made perfect sense.
