Claire Ann BangaGUEST
And so, uh, kind of a company was born out of that, and, uh, so I kind of became an entrepreneur by accident.

Claire Ann BangaGUEST
And then the data that I collected, um, as part of my PhD, um, we kind of did some novel data analysis to look at the extent to which various forms of sensing data could actually be predictive of mental health, uh, difficulties.

Claire Ann BangaGUEST
Um, kind of at that point in time, increasingly, AI was being used, uh, as a diagnostic tool for physical health problems, and, you know, just looking at the wide scope of things and knowing that misdiagnosis is a, an incredibly large problem in the field of psychiatry, you know, I, it kind of came to me that, well, why aren't we using this, uh, in, in the context of mental health? And so, uh, with that, we, uh, took the company in the direction of developing both, um, screening tools to assess mental health, uh, and then also built out a mental health platform to address workplace, uh, mental health.

Claire Ann BangaGUEST
Uh, because at the time that the company was founded, it was during, uh, COVID, and we kind of, um, saw that as, as people were shifting to increasingly, uh, remote forms of work, that this was going to be a much bigger issue than it had been in the past.

Claire Ann BangaGUEST
Um, and as we are today, uh, we, we've released our mental health platform, uh, and, uh, we also have a screening API, which provides kind of psychological insights into text-based a-analysis, but we also are developing multimodal models that use voice.
