And now that this vote is done, how do you think the province and the city move forward from this?

Yeah I think you know I think it's important for us to move forward in a good way working to build a stronger Alberta and a stronger Canada and recognize the importance of dealing with facts and solid information when we're talking about some of the questions and some of the assumptions that we make so I look forward to constructive conversation going forward and You know, Canada is much stronger with Alberta in it, and Alberta is much better for being in Canada in my view.

So, yeah, I hope things go forward in a good way.

I don't expect some of the chaos and uncertainty to disappear immediately, if ever.

I think there will always be a little bit of uncertainty, but hopefully we can bring people to a space where they can have confidence in where we're headed.

I know, you know, people may think that obviously he was here because of the referendum, but do you think that the federal government's coming to Alberta might be something we might continue to see or some sort of involvement or what, what are your thoughts there?

Yeah, I have actually been in the presence of the Prime Minister four times since April.

Two of those, three of those opportunities within Alberta.

Why did you start that movement?

Yeah.

A little bit more than that now, but, um, That's beside the point.

So it was 2014.

And so it was part of my time of sitting at home and thinking about what I was going to do next.

And I happened to hear on the radio, Calgary radio station, a couple of ladies talking about 100 Women Who Care Calgary.

And I thought, oh, this is quite interesting.

When you look at the future, I know that we spent a lot of time in the past, but when you look at the future for yourself and for Red Deer, what do you see?
