come here just in terms of your first year first year in charity in terms of the chairman role how have you found it's been a big year in terms of the purchase of the land you know obviously me and Steve doing very very well getting to that next level in terms of a semi-final I have to say it's a very successful year you

know and off the pitch sorry as I said it's exactly where we want to be we want to be We want to be big time, we want to be senior is the goal obviously and we want to develop the underage as well into something that can follow that.

Obviously the purchase of the land is a massive investment and a massive step forward for the county.

I suppose me being chairman in that year, it's very exciting.

It's a huge amount of work, the savage volunteerism in this county, savage work we've done in underage teams.

can you see the support growing there in Camogie not just for the senior team but generally in Camogie this year did you know

ah yeah no we've like even last year we had we've county finals at different stages of the year we've we can definitely see a bigger crowd attending these games doesn't matter who's in the final people want to see games want to see live action that's definitely happening in terms of the county teams you can see it happening we brought a big crowd up in a scheme last two weeks ago for the Derry game you look back three years ago we were in two bloody all iron files in the same year in Crowe Park two days in Crowe Park we brought huge crowds that was two days and again no doubt if we get over the line today we'll bring a huge crowd to Crowe Park in two weeks time or three weeks two weeks time fingers crossed fingers crossed yeah

Will you tell us about your encounter many years ago, as it turns out, with Brenda Fricker?

Well, it was very short.

I was coming out of Tesco's on Baggage Street with a heavy carrier bag full of provisions.

Now, I was walking on a stick.

I had a deep vein thrombosis in my leg.

And I found walking very difficult.

And then I suddenly felt this hand on my shoulder.
