Can you, for maybe some of our younger listeners, talk about the things that you called upon at that moment as a leader? What were the things that you felt like served you well? Or maybe, probably there wasn't anything you wish you could have done differently, but maybe there was something that you could do again and we could learn from that too.

Chuck ShafferGUEST
What I would say is it's not just the most important message I could deliver to you or say is that it certainly wasn't just me.

Chuck ShafferGUEST
And so what I've been blessed with through my career and what I've always focused on is surrounding myself with an extremely strong, capable leadership team.

Chuck ShafferGUEST
and i think our organization and i've really focused on when we go out and recruit and build a team we really try to find the very best people and i've always tried to surround myself with people that are smarter more capable have the ability to get things done so did it together and you know i'd say that generally even in being able to have this career that i've had family support is another huge tremendous part of this is that having the support of my spouse having the support of my children i mean it's it's a it's a hard life it's challenging life it's a lot of travel there's a lot that goes on with that so having amazing people around you were help was incredibly helpful through all this and that is probably the biggest thing is is younger leaders come up in their organization they have to always remember it's Leadership is about building an environment where people can be successful and creating that environment where they can go out and win and collaborate and innovate and drive change.

Chuck ShafferGUEST
And your job, particularly as you go longer into leadership, becomes more and more less about you personally getting stuff done and more creating an environment where others can succeed and thrive.
