And how did you get to the feeling of like, this feels done and ready to go on Kickstarter?

You know, I played it over and over and over again, like I say, and it just started to go smoother, and there were fewer and fewer times of, Oh God, this isn't quite hitting, or I wish there was something that would do th- this, you know, that would make something here happen, or, oh man, I made this one state really hard to hit because I was actually avoiding it.

I d- I was hoping nobody would ever, you know, mark all their wounds, for instance.

And being like, okay, no, that actually has to be a totally fun part of the game.

And I had amazing developmental editors.

Uh, early on I got a lot of great advice from Avery Alder, and then I got some pivotal advice, uh, over several months from Ray Najati.

And then, uh, the person who just really hammered this game into shape is Laila McBeath Fucciara, uh, who's now doing a lot of stuff with Cosmere, and she was so helpful in reeling me in and helping me focus and, uh, keeping me from just uprooting it and trying to make every game.
