How did these shape the founding vision for Scape and ultimately lead to the creation of the company?

Christopher NornGUEST
So yeah, I, I was a postdoc with, with David Baker for, for, for three years.

Christopher NornGUEST
Um, and towards the end of my, my postdoc, it was clear from all the AI innovation that was happening in the lab that protein design had become so precise, and the success rates were, were increasing, um, to the extent where, where we thought that maybe now it was possible to, to create modulators, uh, to create mini-proteins so precise that we could control the confirmation of not just the, the mini-protein, but also of the target that they, they would bind to.

Christopher NornGUEST
Um, so with that idea in mind, together with the idea for the high throughput screening platform, that, that, that led to the, like, uh, idea of starting Scape, Scape Bio.

Christopher NornGUEST
So we had been discussing various different other projects, and they were, like, super keen on this particular, uh, project just because of the potential of it.
