Yeah.
2:37
Yeah, it's such an interesting question because I feel like there's been so many red pill moments that have ultimately acted as catalysts or initiations along the path, right? And I know you know this very well with your own journey and the different dark nights that we go through, the different experiences that we navigate that all bring us into a deeper level of awareness of ourselves and who we are beneath what we've been told, what society tells us, all of the programming, conditioning, indoctrination, all of that.
3:05
And this journey, just an unfoldment over time that takes us within ourselves.
3:09
And for me, there was a couple of very key moments that really led me into the path that I'm walking today.
3:17
And one of those moments, which was by far, perhaps the greatest aside from the second one I'll share is leaving the corporate world, a steady, secure job, having a master's degree, working at the top of the ladder and and leaving that behind to pursue a calling, and perhaps some may call that a soul calling.
3:39
And that calling took me halfway across the world to Tanzania, Africa, where I lived and worked in a rural village for two years of my life as a business and health volunteer.
3:50
And so those moments of being and living amongst people tribe and community of people that, again, were living very primitively off of the land, learning how to tend to a fire, to cook over a fire, how to go and fetch water.

So with breath work, specifically around protection of self energy, like of your own internal energy, is there a specific practice for that? Or is it just about just getting conscious breathing, like being intentional breathing?
12:10
But why, you know, how, uh, the idea of combining beats- ... with the breathwork, where did that come from, and how does that just take it to the next level? How can breathwork really change somebody's life?
12:24
Yeah, it's a great question.
12:25
And, you know, it, it's, breath is something, is a technology, I like to call it, of something that we've been working with for so long.
12:32
Now, of course, it's with us innately as an automatic function of our body, you know? It is ...
12:38
We need it in order to survive.
12:39
Yet, as far as if we trace back thousands and thousands of years through many indigenous societies and cultures, you have the words ha, mana, prana, qi, spiritus.
12:52
All of these words all refer back to the one core theme of life force and breath.

Can you take us through that experience?

28:55
Like, what were the shifts and the changes in yourself as you started going through this process and working with different teachers or exploring different modalities? Like, what was shifting in your sense of self, in your body, uh, the way you looked at yourself, the way you looked at the world? I'm curious to hear about that.
29:11
Yeah.
29:11
You know, I think with every-- e- anything that you explore, you gain deeper awareness of, of yourself through that tool or practice or whatever it might be, right? And that's the, that's the idea for anything that we're doing.
29:23
It's becoming and, and becoming the embodiment of what it is that we're sharing, and it's through that we obviously have these different changes and shifts in perspective.
29:32
I would say for me, um, you know, having different coaching certifications, different breathwork certifications, herbal, energetic, you know, I've, I've really gone through the gamut.
29:44
Um, but what's impacted me the most and sort of changed and altered my perspective aside from the breath has been working with plant medicines.
29:52
And so in 2016, I were-- was down in and had beautiful opportunity to work with these incredible medicine men and women, uh, in the Ecuadorian Amazon, um, in a very private way.

Yeah.
