As you're going door to door, are you feeling that people are so angry at President Trump and some of the things he's done? What are the people saying to you at the door?

Honestly, the people are saying they are sick of the Democrats in Illinois.

I am a Trump supporter, obviously.

I avoid the conversation because I'm not running for Congress.

I'm running for a state legislative position.

And once you talk about, okay, are you better off? So the Democrats have run this seat for the last 23 years.

And this is the first time that it's an open seat.

Yeah.

municipal city township district we've got all these layers of government if we would just streamline government and springfield do what it's constitutionally mandated to do to pick up a higher percentage of public education that would go a long way to solving at least some of the affordability issue what are your thoughts

Well, what you have to remember, too, is Illinois is 50th in education.

So we are spending all this money on education, but yet we're not having kids that can critically think.

We're not having kids.

We are not preparing our kids for our future.

I'm a teacher, and I see what happens in the school, and this is kind of what brings the passion out.

Not only that they're sexualizing our kids and teaching them... what to think, not how to think, that they are the future of Illinois.

Thomas Sowell famously said that educators and politicians, when it comes to education, that they can come up with all of these grandiose plans and raise taxes and move to these woke agendas, but they are singularly unique in that they pay no price when they fail.
