Please.
5:37
I think that's one that actually also defined my sort of career a little bit as well.
5:42
Um, so when I first moved to Singapore, my first account was gonna be Nokia.
5:47
So, and the day I arrived is when Nokia share price nosedived.
5:51
Um, and working for a sort of larger agency, when you work for, like, or when you work on those sort of larger key accounts, you bleed blue for the rest of your life at that, at that agency.
6:02
So in some ways it was lucky that Nokia account- Uh, sort of fizzled down.
6:08
That allowed me to go into lots of different types of different counts and different types of retail spaces.

Um, Tamzin asked a question, uh, how much does sustainability come into the work that you do?
5:53
Mm-hmm
5:53
... doing okay.
5:54
They've made it as far as they've made it on referrals and their own sales intuition, and they get to this point where there's parts of their business they need to delegate, they need help with.
6:03
They can't wear every hat.
6:06
And so at best, when I talk to someone from the marketing side of things- We will hear things like, "Yeah, referrals is mostly it, and I'm hitting the ceiling of growth." Well, traditionally, the conversation from us would be, "Okay, our program is to do a number of things," and I won't go through all of them, but certainly on the list is, "Let's get you in front of your ideal lead where they are looking." And that historically are, you know, places like Google, um, both organically, so showing up on Google for free because your website's built well, you've got a great Google page, you've got great reviews.
6:47
Um, ads on Google is another popular one.
6:50
Ads on Facebook, organic on Facebook, email, uh, those are some of the big players historically as it relates to where we're gonna try and angle our client to go and rank on.
8:36
Mm.
8:50
So what's like the top problem that you see firm owners recently having a big challenge with?
9:00
Yeah.
9:00
Having done this for a decade, these are not the only problems we see when we're, you know, meeting with, you know, potential customers of tax for marketer or people in the industry.
9:10
But these are obviously some of the biggest ones.
9:11
These are some of the like core things that everyone is addressing or is trying to address.
9:15
And one is we'll talk about new client acquisition soon.
9:19
Like I'm not getting enough new clients, but the first one is actually existing clients that don't return.

12 MINS LATER

21:32
And it's one of the least expensive marketing efforts that you could have in your firm because it is much more effective from a financial standpoint to keep a client than it is to go and do advertising to pay to get a new client.
