So 2024, let's say what was happening with your private practice? What was your day to day like at that time?

Krissy JohnsonGUEST
Sure, can I rewind a little bit? So some people may or may not know that I, therapy is kind of my second career, third career, I don't know.

Krissy JohnsonGUEST
What do you wanna call it? So I got my degree in marriage and family therapy in 2016, but didn't study for licensure until COVID because between 2016 after graduation and 2020, I was on tour with a musical touring the country.

Krissy JohnsonGUEST
And, and then COVID hit, shows closed down, and I thought, I should probably use my therapy degree now.

Krissy JohnsonGUEST
So studied for licensure and thought immediately, well, I have to work for somebody to get, you know, what the gazillion hours you need for, for independent licensure.

Krissy JohnsonGUEST
in here in arizona and got all my hours as quickly as possible which took me a little over two years i started working for them in september of 2020 left in august of 2023 so two and a half years i worked for them to get my hours um and then i was independently licensed and i was like sayonara so i left and i knew i wanted to be in private practice so opened up my own private practice, but immediately got on all the insurance panels because I thought, you know, that's what you do.
