Well, with ballots going out and the election just around the corner, what actually happens behind the scenes during an election cycle? And what can voters expect in their mailboxes?

Well, right now, of course, our ballots have been prepared for mailing at a mail house.

And I actually supervise that process in person.

But that happened about three weeks ago.

And from that date, when we call it the original extraction of data, those ballot materials get inserted in those envelopes.

Of course, I'm supervising to make sure that the proper ballot styles.

So what is a ballot style? A ballot style is based on where you reside within the county, within the city, and within all those districts that fall within those boundaries of your address.
