Have you experienced that in your research as well? And how do we overcome that? Because there'll be people listening to this, they go, yeah, I'm doing that.
15:54
Oh, absolutely.
15:55
I would say we didn't get that granular in the research.
15:58
I wish we did, but I can speak from personal experience on that.
16:02
It's something I see a lot across, I'd say across even the big company I work in, but especially I'd say leadership.
16:08
You're exactly right.
16:09
You're checking off the urgent task.

20 MINS LATER

36:33
So where should personal responsibility and organizational responsibility begin?
14:05
When you are networking with people, do you have like, like how do you approach that?
14:14
Ooh, great, great question.
14:17
You know, I, I'm part of some associations.
14:19
So I think that helps by getting involved in, in volunteering and helping.
14:23
But, uh, I learned before there was, well, I'm not saying it didn't exist, but I learned it from doing the coffee meetings.
14:33
And so I was recommended how important mentorship was.
14:38
And I was going like, I don't know if I'm in a spot I can afford mentorship or the investment.

13 MINS LATER

28:10
It's not crazy now.
66:00
Mm-hmm.
66:00
And it was pretty amazing to be able to say we were number three, you know, for the regionals for the fastest-growing company in the entire, you know, Midwest region.
66:09
But when people ask me, like, "How'd you do it?" they're usually surprised by my answer.
66:15
We invested in culture from day one.
66:17
One of the very first leadership, um, hires I made was a director of culture.
66:22
That was before we even had our HR leader picked out or sales leaders.
66:27
It was a focus of knowing that we were gonna create an experience for people that was gonna make them better than when they first walked in our doors.
68:07
Yeah
2:58
Why don't you kind of pull back the curtain, so to speak, and let our listeners understand what that process is all about and how you as a company are extremely effective at doing that.
3:12
All right.
3:13
Well, there's two sides to it.
3:14
You know, actually I'd probably say there's three and I'll explain the third.
3:18
The first two will make sense right off the bat.
3:20
And so the client side, you know, we look for places that have multiple, lots of roles posted.
3:28
Maybe they're doing large sign-on bonuses.

49 MINS LATER

52:03
And then number two, solve it.
1:24
Tell me, what are you thinking about now?
1:27
Jessica, thanks for having me on.
1:29
Well, recently I did a research study and I reached out to find out what people's human potential is or hidden potential.
1:39
And I was really surprised by the results.
1:41
Over 200 people answered and what was nice was half of them were a leader, half of them were not in a leadership position.
1:47
And despite, regardless of that, 92% of people said they believe they are capable more than what they're currently doing in their life today.
1:57
And I asked, well, what's holding you back from your potential? What's keeping you? And there's really four things that rose to the top.

5 MINS LATER

7:14
So to the people who think that's bullshit, like how do you explain or communicate or can you that that isn't bullshit?
