We're-- Let's talk about the protection and backup recovery of identities in your cloud service provider, what you think, what you may think is being done versus what is really being done, and what is, what are the risks that you may or may not be aware of.

Chris SteinkeGUEST
You know, um, it, it's interesting as, uh, you know, back when I was part of MightyID before we were now part of Semperis, it was, it was an interesting discussion we, we were first having with customers several years ago.

Chris SteinkeGUEST
They thought, "Well, you know, my identity service, whether it's Entra or Okta or whomever, it's in the cloud, and the cloud is everywhere, and it's backed up." And, uh, that, that first realization that, okay, maybe the, the service of the cloud is everywhere and the service is highly available, but your data, right, which is your identity data, isn't necessarily that, that same way, right? And, and that, that whole shared accountability model, shared responsibility model that's in the fine print of every SaaS provider actually, you know, they actually mean that when they say that.

Chris SteinkeGUEST
So those outages and ransomware attacks, things that I mentioned earlier, those things, you know, when they became real, those clauses in those contracts became real, right? And, and, and customers started to realize that they had to back that up.
