What was happening in the market that made you think that way in the first place, fixed and geo-targeting? What are you doing there? [chuckles]
44:56
Well, uh, yeah, so I, I think as close to recession-proof, uh, as you can get is, uh, really focusing on your used cars and, uh, making sure that you, uh, have a really strong used cars department and really a fixed, uh, department.
45:12
And one of the things that made me think about that was COVID.
45:15
Uh, when you look at if there's another chip shortage or if, uh, the, the new vehicle manufacturers, when that production slowed down, everybody had to really proliferate, uh, their, their used car strategies.
45:28
And so for me, uh, that's what it's about, is about building a strong fixed department, making sure your fixed absorption is where it needs to be, and, uh, just really being able to, to focus on your, on your used cars as well.

50:48
But what is geotargeting in your world, Chris?
50:51
Yeah, so, so geotargeting is, uh, both for sales and for service.
50:55
So I have it broken down in repair order by zip code, as, along with my sales by zip code.
3:36
So tell us in a, a minute or two a little bit about what's this story.
3:40
Unfortunately, I lost my mom in the Mother Emanuel AME Church shooting.
3:44
On June 17th, 2015, she was one of nine victims that lost their life to a guy that wanted to start a race war in this country, and following that, I had this mission of unity.
3:54
How can I unite people? Even though we're different, even though some of us speak different languages, you know, how can we come together? Um, and that's remembering that we serve, you know, one God and one king, and that we're also all made in the image of Him.
4:06
So, uh, that's one thing we can do.
4:09
And I said, "Well, how can I do that with kids?" And that's where this book came about, and one of the things that I do with my story to honor my mom, I put my mom in every single children's book, uh, that I write, uh, some way, somehow.
4:20
She was an educator.
4:40
Behind it.
12:47
Hmm.
12:47
That's a terrible way for somebody to go, and I'm so grateful that in that time I think God was molding me.
12:54
Um, because me personally, man, if it was just up to me, I would've been like, "Hey, this happened.
13:00
I wanna play my sport," and that, that's it.
13:02
But God had other plans for me.
13:04
Um, and I've s- I didn't see that at the time, but I see that now.
13:07
And the process for me with forgiveness is simple.

21:15
[laughs]
8:23
What have you done thus far to help your daughter feel that in your relationship to date?
8:29
Yeah, I think every kid, but especially daughters, they find their confidence, they find their beauty, and they'll ask daddy or mommy, hey, do I look beautiful? And my daughter is obsessed with those words.
8:40
And so every morning when we get baby girl dressed and we'll put clothes on her, if she doesn't like it, she'll let us know immediately if she doesn't like the clothes.
8:48
So we already know at a young age she's going to be some type of fashionista.
8:52
And so we'll put on her clothes.
8:54
If it's not a dress, she doesn't want it.
8:55
So we have to change her clothes, put on a dress.

24:36
How important is it for dads to let their kids see emotion, grief, and healing?
