I really ...

Okay, so when I started doing music in, I guess, middle school, um, my band director offered everyone in the class $20 a semester if they picked saxophone, tenor saxophone specifically.
5:26
And because the tenor saxophone is, like, pretty large, you had to be this certain height to do it, so, like, not everyone qualified.
5:34
Um, but l- I was bribed into music, essentially.

36:59
Yeah
36:59
... then very often the feeling of l- like, not being supported will come up a lot on Mod because it feels like, "Well, I'm here.
37:10
How is the theater gonna help me beyond this point?" And while a lot of those things are valid, and it is great that people are being forced to then turn and think about long form writing, it's like it, it is still, like, a com- thinking about the community of UCB and the theater of UCB, like, we should still be able to offer an in-house solution to some things.
25:23
And before that, had you known you were non-binary? I guess take me on that journey of you realizing and coming out with it.
25:33
Okay, so no, I did not.
25:39
What was helpful about the pandemic was that it gave me time to reflect on a lot of these things, like I said, including my gender identity.
25:47
And I would experience very... uh, semi-frequently like thoughts about like if I was in the wrong body and mostly it was like related to, um, like I thought that perhaps I was like a trans woman.
26:05
Um, and for a long time I would just like push that feeling down.
26:10
Um, cause it would just be like little feelings.
26:12
flickers of a thought i'd be like no no no don't think of that um but given the opportunity of so much time alone during the pandemic i was like let's we really have to think about this like we've been given time and so i started playing with pronouns with my friends um just to like see how they felt um like receiving it um and i uh i played with them for a couple of years um and even lived life as a trans woman using she they even she, her for a very, very short period of time, like in new Orleans.
30:18
Can you talk more about that?
31:21
Okay.
31:21
Um, there, there's no more hiding after this particular post.
31:26
Um, I am in fact Spooky Cat or Coyote Roaming.

15 MINS LATER

46:36

46:38
A, um, and, and that's on me.
46:40

Yeah, they really, yeah, they're heavy with the palms, right?
78:52
Yeah.
78:52
Yeah, but more specifically, there's, um, this f- famous Russian Turkish bath in New York where like their entire social media presence is capturing the, um, the, the hot guys after they've gone through the bath in various states [laughs] of undress right outside the entrance.
19:52
What is something that you think is underrated, Chris?
19:55
The thing that I think that is underrated is the Netflix TV show The Devil's Plan.
20:00
I'm obsessed with this.
20:02
They're out on season two right now.
20:04
Um, and me and my (laughs) my ex, Ellia, we watched the first season together and became really obsessed, and then the second season came out a couple months ago and we've been binge watching this show.
20:15
And it's just a series of games, but what is fun for us is that the rules to each game are so convoluted and long, they genuinely take 20 minutes out of each episode to explain you the new-
