I'm curious, what actions from the federal government concern you most right now?
224:15
Ooh, where to start on there? So the federal government, when you're looking at the accountability, look at how many millions of dollars that a lot of the people in positions of power have made just this year alone between the stock trading.
224:36
And then you have the betting markets that they would have had the insider information on.
224:41
Then you have the Supreme Court that hasn't been going off of a code of ethics.
224:46
When the last couple of judges came in, they were asked if they would stick with The previous rolling to the court and go with precedent and they went in and overturned like Roe V.
224:56
Wade.
224:57
And there are just a whole lot of things going on.
228:57
What first made this such an important issue for you?
8:24
What are veterans and rural communities experiencing when they try to access VA care and what would you do about it if elected to Congress?
8:35
Well, getting over some of the hurdles of actually getting those jobs back.
8:40
First, you have to get them authorized again after the cuts that happened.
8:43
But then finding the people to fill them, I know they were struggling to fill them beforehand, but who's going to want to come back? The job's actually uncertain right now.
8:51
So we just have to get that certainty there.
8:54
As far as the issues that people have had, I know that I went to a VA appointment at Jefferson Barracks.
9:00
I happened to meet a gentleman there that came up.

10 MINS LATER

19:14
What first made this such an important issue for you?
54:26
What are you thinking about the two main constitutional amendments? Let's start with Amendment Number 4 and your thoughts there.
54:35
Oh, boy.
54:35
Anything that hurts a citizen's right to vote is always going to be an issue for me, especially on the larger scale, serving in the military with the Constitution.
54:48
The Missouri Constitution is just as important to me.
54:50
So whenever you take away the right of the people to petition or make it, I guess not taking it away, but they're making it increasingly harder to do that to where something as little as 5% of the population could overturn an overwhelming majority across the state.
55:07
So say if four passed, And a citizen initiative wound up on the ballot.
55:15
Seven congressional districts could literally vote 99% in favor for that ballot measure.
55:55
It's not quite as open and shut, is it?
