I think, I think I, I totally agree.

I think it's crazy, you know, how fast life can change.

And, you know, you go from thinking one problem is, is massive, but honestly, in the grand scheme of things, it's not.

And, you know, after we, you know, the first blow, like, oh my gosh, my son's got cancer.

We've, we've flipped the script.

We're just like, you know what? you know, we found out testicular, we can beat this man.

And that that works out really well for you guys.

I mean, I thought it was just a tremendous

job.

I got some pretty good advice a long time ago from those old ball coaches.

Not so much how you start, it's how you finish.

And that was kind of our mindset.

We were close.

I mean, the first game of the season, you know, Ian Willer, which is an incredible story, by the way, Ian Willer is probably going to make the Buffalo Bills.

apply talking about your gut of course as a louisville grad and an avid football follower here it really made our day when you announced that you were going to stay home and go to louisville and i know you were recruited by all the major division ones you were the parade high school quarterback of the year i mean you had all kinds of records coming out of high school talking about your gut, what prompted you to stay here at home? And the reason I say that is Louisville had had some success previously, of course, with Johnny Unitas way back when, and, you know, a couple of guys like Stephan LaForse and some of those, but you kind of opened the door to, Louisville becoming quarterback university and you got the Bridgewaters and Lamar Jackson's and everybody after you so what what kept you here in Louisville

Is this finally the year that we take that next step and we maintain it with promise? I

mean, I, we right now everything you know the table is set so and uh we could have played charlotte and uh we didn't play charlotte they they changed the show which wasn't easy to do they threw charlotte out and they put old miss in there like okay if you uh if you want to be a contender you go out there and and you win this first game with two potential heisman candidates on the other team and and uh in a big time atmosphere then then uh then the opportunity is is right there for you so I love what Jeff Brom's doing.

I think he's got, you know, we got the, I know we got the running back.

I know we got credible receiver.

Our quarterbacks are very good, but you don't know until the live bullets are out there.

So like, that's going to be the deciding factor is what these guys do on game day.

And, you know, if we can, You know, not give them anything, you know, make sure that we play solid on offense, defense and special teams.

What market would you like to see it expanded to if you had to take ownership to another team and stuff? Where would you like to see

Chris, how do you look back on your Ravens career here?

You know, I enjoyed winning the Super Bowl my rookie year.

I'll never forget that.

I met some incredible guys along the way that are lifelong friends of mine, like Brandon Stokely and Tony Banks and Todd Heap are really close friends of mine.

I could go on and on, Brad Jackson.

But, you know, I...

I kind of wish I was in a little bit different, you know, being in, I was, I came from a Louisville offense that was a shotgun.

How does that change how you look at that?

You get two 60-yard field goals from Tanner Brown, but the conversation with you guys leading up to the last one, can you kind of review that for us, take us back through what that was like?

Well, everybody looks at me like I'm crazy when I say, let's kick it.

And, you know, the coaches don't think it's maybe the – some of the coaches don't think it's the right idea.

So I take the chance and then I look over at Tanner.

And Tanner, I just – I don't know.

I guess we kind of developed a relationship where, you know, he looks at me, I just trust him.

And he says, I got it, coach.

How have you been able to get that to be one of the strengths of your football team on both sides of the ball?
