I'm curious, what inspired you to write the book besides all that experience that you'd accumulated over the years?

There was about three or four different things that put me on the path of writing the book.

One was a few years ago, I had the pleasure of going on stage and introducing a friend of mine, Johnny Russo, who just published his own book.

And I was able to ask him questions about the book and really bring it to life at a conference and everything.

We had some great conversations about the process that he went through.

Then I read a book from Steve Dennis and it's called Remarkable Retail.

And that book really impacted me.

So maybe talk to us about what you learned about agency during your time in retail and why Hale is different.

How often is this happening?

It's happening a lot.

And people have been signaling that this has been an issue for quite a long time.

The coroner called for mandatory helmets for e-scooters back in 2019.

And so health professionals such as myself working in rehabilitation, the consequences of a serious brain injury are lifelong.

And I guess, yeah, looking at the anomaly between the controls on bicycle riders versus scooter riders, and really thought it's time to, you know, add my voice to the voice of voices, including Dr. Kelly Jones, who's the vice president of the Brain Injury Association for New Zealand, has called for mandatory helmet wearing.

And also even people within the industry, John O'Leonard, who's the electric scooter company president in Auckland, is also saying, realizing that,

Can you tell us about the patients you work with if they have had a brain injury? How is that impacting their life? What are you seeing?

Yeah.

I, I think all of that is, is great to help the customer make a complete package or bundle.

The area I always get concerned with is when you start to figure out the sizing.
