Yep.

This is another one of those- Everybody in the band can sing.

You know, you got your, uh, uh, it hearkens back to the vocal groups of the early rock and roll days where you, you had a bar- a baritone, a soprano, everybody filling a, a, a vocal range.

And just the way the voices blend together.

I, I totally agree with you, it's kind of plodding and, like, it, it, uh, sort of interrupts the momentum of the album if you're listening to it in sequence.

But I just think it's, it has value just strictly as a display of, uh, of vocal, uh, uh, excellence really.

[sighs]

... that had something to do with itYeah, if you heard that song Burning Down One Side or whatever, his first solo single, it's got Phil's drums all over it.

Phil's one of those drummers who y- you hear it and you instantly know it's him.

So that was a big part of it.

You know, nobody was worthy of filling that drum stool, you know? That's probably the mo- gotta, had to have been the most intimidating drum gig in the history of music [laughs] at that point.

Yeah.

In, in bad shape with, with the drugs and everything and, and you gotta consider the source.

Like I said, I think when it comes directly from him, people start to question what they actually saw, and that starts to change people's opinion of it.
