Let's start out with what's been the biggest challenge you've faced that brought out the best in leadership in you and your team?

The one that stands out for me the most was my experience around September 11th.

So imagine this, here I am, I'm still fairly early in my career.

I'm a director at T-Mobile predecessor at the time of VoiceStream.

We had just bought the company OmniPoint that was based in New York.

The CTO, Tim Wong, who was one of the folks that helped hire me into T-Mobile, looked for volunteers that wanted to go to New York as we were integrating this new company.

And so I was living with my wife, who was about eight, nine months pregnant in Austin, Texas.

When was the time every option in front of you seemed like a bad one? You had to make a call and how did you decide and what'd you learn from those consequences?
