suppose you're asking about reaction to Pep and expectations of Maresca there.

So to take the Pep point first, I guess there's an element of, on the one hand, you would expect him to stand up and back the club because to not do so would be to, you know, vindicate the attacks on his own legacy so he's got to defend that but on the other hand there is this like again it's this bullish robust belief that they have in the process and ultimately being exonerated that makes it impossible to not think that there might be some light at the end of the tunnel so yeah it just feeds into the kind of weird dichotomy that our current reality is dictated by it's just weird man we're definitely guilty but we definitely might get off it's just absolutely mind blowing as for Maresca I don't know it's interesting to say the least in terms of how he's going to handle it I don't feel Pep always handled Places like Anfield, brilliantly.

The amount of vitriol we get anyway there is unmatched, even in Old Trafford and places.

There's been occasions quite recently where he's not looked as effective, but he held the ball up well.

And he always drew more than one defender to him, which is great, especially if you've got 10 men, because that negates having 10 men and provides options.

uh to carry on getting him behind despite the numbers so yeah i was really impressed with him and jai i mean wow uh in terms of like someone made the point i can't remember it was on the on the whatsapps imagine if that was savio coming on instead of and jai i mean talk about an upgrade It's just a great option to have.

He's transformed the whole football landscape in, in, well, certainly this country.

Like even, and we've said it before on this podcast, like even Sunday League people are passing out from the back, like even, even on a, a cabbage patch of a, a pitch, people are trying to emulate Pep's style through every league in the country, and it's undeniable the, the effect he's had.

David MooneyHOST
Um, Higgy, have you got any, any favorite games, favorite goals? Um, I mean, there, there's so many to pick from.
C

Well, as a kind of in th- in theme of what we're kind of talking about and an antidote to this theory that we don't move the ball about quickly, I think just one of the favorite, not just City goals, but one of the best goals I've ever seen was the, uh, Bernardo Silva against Villa where we did incredibly well.
