Sure.
20:21
I love the drama of them.
20:23
The, the, the inner me who wishes I were a screen writer.
20:32
Like I love Aaron Sorkin, the guy that wrote fight club.
20:38
I love the guy that wrote, um, like a lot of like films with rapid fire dialogue.
20:45
Yeah.
20:46
Um, um, Sopranos, of course, right? Just the writing is so brilliant.

so that that's the the general perspective and an audience um so from you know from your perspective what makes a great jujitsu academy
0:54
well i'm gonna launch into um one of my diatribes which i often do because like a lot of the teachers and martial artists and anyone who's done this, I think I know a lot.
1:09
And I probably know less than I think I know, but more than sometimes I want to admit, if that makes any sense, even though what I said was the exact opposite of what I opened with.
1:23
But, I have never actually owned an academy, but what I have done is gone all over the country, all over the world and taught at so many academies.
1:38
really successful ones, struggling ones, little hole in the wall, strip mall ones, warehouse academies, ones that are oriented, but towards MMA, ones that are oriented, but towards competition, towards family jujitsu.
1:57
And, um, I often say, not only because I go around the world and I'm always reading philosophy, history, and politics, I have my finger on the pulse of various things.
2:12
And one of them is I can tell almost instantly if an academy is going to be successful or not.

What's one thing that you wish jiu-jitsu academies would do more of? And what's one thing you wish that they would do less of? Go ahead.
