Do you think Zach Zinter is safe on this roster, or is that somebody that we should look for cut down day?

I wouldn't use the word safe.

But I've sort of done a 180 on, I've done a 170, let's call it.

Not a whole 180, but, you know, I'm all the way, almost all the way back to, from him not being on the roster to, I think he's just sort of there by default, right? Again, just going through the offensive line, it's like, they played him and Leviston I think every play last night.

And I think that was I think that was by design sort of, okay, I think it's those two fighting for that last offensive line spot.

Or one of those last offensive line spots.

And they're trying to figure out what they see out of either of them.

I guess the first part of this question is, How will Joe Royer's situation be handled in terms of how they try to roster him or however they try to handle that? And then how much of the guys that are on this roster right now at that position, who are you maybe expecting to emerge and actually be on the final 53, not just the initial 53? Outside

A lot of different guys and complete almost with the fight for one more starting spot.

Yeah, I think it's been... and Todd and George Warhop both have said this, you know, have said this, you know, that's a position that's going to be, I'm fascinated to see them when they get the pads on, especially got like Fano there at left tackle when he, you know, because he's going to get plenty of work against Jared verse.

So they're off that edge.

A little of both.

Actually, I would argue the right time to have moved him is probably last year when Miles made that public trade demand around the Super Bowl, and it went on for about a month.

They gave him 160 million reasons to want to stay in Cleveland.

And, you know, that probably was the best time to trade him if you were going to do it.

But fans are disappointed.

Chris, who's the one pulling the strings and needing to justify getting him out there? Is it GM Andrew Barry? Is it Jimmy Haslam? Like, who is the one that's got this thought bubble that says, we got to justify this trade?

I think it's people in ownership, but I actually don't think it's Jimmy.

You know, we had an opportunity to talk to Jimmy at the owners meetings and Jimmy famously, a year ago at the owner's meetings in 25, called him a swing and a miss.

Now, he walked those comments back a little bit this past year at the owner's meetings, but he couched everything cautiously, optimistic, and we need to see him in games, and this, that, and the other.

If I had to guess, I would guess there are others within the ownership group.
