So I started baseball research on the, in real form in about 1996, back when the internet was early.
11:06
And what had happened there was a baseball defensive process called project score sheet that was started by bill James and john the one.
11:15
And when john the one left to start stats it kind of died out as a public access so after about five years john is publishing zone ratings and I had been a score for him, so I said when in the chat group for people felt like Defense was not that important, I said, well, we could turn.

zone rating into runs saved.

And so in 96, I started doing that and publishing that on, at the time it was Usenet news groups.

Is there anything else that either of you are working on that you'd like to give a plug to?
