I was like, oh, you know, I know so many people come to China, and actually there's only one person I ever heard of had this exit ban.

And in my mind it was kind of, like, a fair reason, yeah? They got to the customs to try and leave, and they were like, "Wait there, you've got, like, a bank loan for $500,000," or something like that, "that you haven't paid back," yeah? And, like, they'd opened a gym, I think it was in Shenzhen, and basically the gym had collapsed, and then they owed a lot of money to the bank, yeah? So when they got to try and leave, yeah, they were like, "You need to pay this money back before you leave," yeah.

That was probably about seven or eight years ago, I remember.

I didn't know the person.
