How did you tell your husband that you planned on moving on without him?

So I was strategic about it, because no matter what type of relationship you're ending, you never know how the other person's going to react, especially when you hit them with something like, "I'm leaving you because I'm gay." So I left, and once I was in a safe place, that's when I told him.

It was via the phone.

It wasn't even face-to-face, you know? And he actually kind of had an idea, but he still was trying to make things work.

Like, he wanted me to come back.

He wanted, mm, things to work out for us, and he said, "You can come back, but you can't do this or this." So in other words, you can come back [laughs] and continue in this relationship and still not be able to be myself and live authentically, which obviously is not gonna work, and didn't.

... how you knew that this was the right relationship for you.

What is the one thing you're seeing where we are making mistakes with right now or doing well as entrepreneurs? I think the biggest

mistake is inconsistency and actually not willing to change.

I actually had a client who has been doing what they do for a very long time.

And I made a suggestion that maybe we should try to do something differently.

They reluctantly got on the call and During the call and after the call, my client was like so incredibly happy and was singing my praises because prior to the call, they already had in their mind that they knew what they were doing and that this wasn't going to be anything different, even though I had told them this is totally different.

So I give my client kudos for being willing to take that leap of faith, so to speak, and at least hear and listen to what this person was saying.

And hopefully he's going to move forward with them.
