So I liked working outside.

So bricklaying was my first choice, along with scaffolding, ironically, which could have been my other choice.

Chris, I understand you had an incident similar to that.

Uh, yeah, so I was working in, uh, midtown ladder company one night, and we received a run for smoke in a coffee shop around 8:00 PM in the middle of summertime.

We were the second due truck company.

The first due truck company arrived and reported that they had a haze in the coffee shop on the first floor of a 21-story multiple dwelling.

Building was about 200 by 100, commercial on the first floor being that coffee shop.

It had a parking garage in the basement and sub-basement levels.

So we stopped into the first floor coffee shop to see where this haze was that they were talking about so that we could, uh, investigate, you know, opposite where they were to, uh, try and figure out what was going on.
