I, I could be a, I could be a rockstar of the racetrack"?

Well, one day I was asked to, um, pick a guy up, um, in Griffith at the airport to go to a meeting, and he was running late and apparently a lot h- held on this, this meeting.

And, uh, he said, "Mate..." I picked him up and he said, "Mate, I don't care how you get there, just get me there the quickest possible way." And, uh, there was this notorious corner going to a place called Lake Wyangan near Griffith, and what happens, you go through the S-bend over a channel.

And I was, I had an Austin Healey Sprite back in those days and, uh, um, that's another story I, I could probably tell you about that you'd laugh about.

But, and I just went through there fairly quick, but not unusual.

I just thought it was normal.

And I got to the guy and dropped him off and he was so grateful and everything.
