Are you at peace with yours?

In terms of my diabetes, so obviously I've been a diabetic for 17 years now and my sugar levels were erratic.

So I was constantly high, constantly having DKA, constantly in and out of hospital, didn't go to appointments, lied about sugar levels, lied to doctors, literally everything.

I even had children, you know, my family were like, right, come on, you need to get onto it now.

You know, you're going to have complications, you know, further on down the line.

Again, being a young male, you think, oh, I'm made of steel.

Nothing's going to happen to me.

And then I sort of two months ago decided to get a grip and talk to as many people connected to type one as possible to learn and to make mates and to build something, connect people and no longer do it alone.
