Chris how are things going at Delta Center and what can fans expect this year

it's pretty exciting um I we were in there uh maybe last week I guess it was uh touring around and um it's just incredible um you know credit to all Oakland construction all of the workers there uh internally uh Jim Olson Jamie Galileo McKinley uh Follett uh just for their It's an incredible undertaking.

I think I read there's 700 tons of steel, SME steel, that have been introduced to the facility this year.

230,000 square feet of reimagined space in the north end.

Spectacular sight lines, brand new premium club, gondolas in the upper reaches of the building that provide a great opportunity and more access So really excited to see it all put back together and all the dust removed and ready to go.

And in fact, we will reopen the building for our preseason game on the 26th, which is exciting.

Have you seen the relationship grow with the community over the last couple years?

I mean, as we've said a number of times, I think it's really been humbling for us to see the level of enthusiasm and passion from the moment this team arrived in Utah and NHL hockey was born in Utah.

Have you seen the relationship grow with the community over the last couple years?

What motivated you to get into the coaching profession, right? Why do this?

Yep.

It was around probably my junior year, senior year of high school.

I was trying to figure out what am I going to study in college.

Um, and I knew I wanted to get into coaching, right? I've always been around athletics my whole life.

Like you said, my father was a coach.

Um, some of my biggest mentors and, uh, have been coaches in my life.

What's your day entail?

Was that immediately accepted? Was it something that fitted into the canon of explanations of the disease biology?

It was well received within the research community.

And actually for the first many years, actually during my PhD, I largely existed within the conferences of metabolomics.

For me, making sure the methodology and stuff that we were doing was the main focus at the time.

And it was really at the end of my PhD that I would go to conferences.

And I didn't realize how many people had kind of been reading that work and been wanting to talk about it.

So it was very well received within the research community, from what I could tell.

How has that theory developed and how is it supported by the evidence that you've seen over the years?

I want to start by, uh, thanking our fans, uh, for their unbelievable passion, uh, their investment, their support through the entirety of the season, uh, but in particular during the playoffs.

They put Utah on the map as a hockey market.

Um, from the deafening atmosphere at the Delta Center to the plaza parties, um, to the thousands of fans who showed up for us in Vegas, uh, the bars, the restaurants, the flags on the houses, the positivity, enthusiasm throughout the city and across the state, uh, was deeply meaningful to all of us.

I want to acknowledge, uh, with appreciation our ownership group, Ryan and Ashley Smith, uh, our players, our coaches, our staff, our front office, and all of our employees across SEG, uh, who gave us absolutely everything they had, uh, to make this an unforgettable first season as the Utah Mammoth.

I'm proud of our group, uh, for reaching one of our stated objectives of reaching the playoffs for the first time in franchise history.

Um, indeed, there were many positives throughout this year, uh, that we can add to our foundation and continue to build upon.
