... how did you come up with, with this, like when you read the, the script, uh, what made you decide to take and fight for, for this role?

Yeah, I mean, that type of visceral female protagonist role doesn't come through the door very often, especially here in Toronto, so yeah, I was so excited.

I, I, I've been on a show for a while where I play a very contained character, and I'm not a contained person in my real life, so I was really excited to be able to, um, explore my feralness by playing this, this character.

So yeah, I was, I was really excited about it.

Oh, Houston gave, um, so much room to just explore, um, my own body and my own sounds, and he very rarely yelled cut.

He just kept the camera rolling to allow things to emerge, and I think to have space like that as an actor is a huge gift.

Like coming from the world of television where it's just like hit your mark and bark and say your lines and keep moving on, uh, it doesn't always give you that opportunity to find those, those diamonds.
