[laughs] What happened on those ski trips in Japan?
3:16
Oh, so they were a dream of mine, [laughs] you know, to run these ski trips for women, and for me it was like seeing the transformation and people sort of realizing this is, you know, this is their purpose and what they wanna do.
3:32
But also it's just being surrounded by snow, being surrounded by, you know, the Japanese environment, the mountains.
3:42
You know, w- in one of the retreats we had access to this beautiful, uh, hundreds of year old tea house that had been renovated, and we did a workshop in there one afternoon doing yoga and then working out, you know, going through people's values, and it was just the most serene experience.
5:03
Which idea in the book changed you the most?
5:06
That's a tough one.
5:06
Probably a couple.
5:08
They, they, they've all played important roles in my life.
11:56
So why don't you tell us about the early days and what's influenced you and what's really moved you to get to this point?
12:02
Yeah, yeah.
12:03
To get to this point, I think there's always been an underlying sort of purpose that I probably didn't know what it actually was.
12:09
I've always been connected to sort of, you know, purpose and intentional living for several years.
12:13
I mean, that's the work that I do in sort of, you know, that positive psychology.
12:17
So I've in senior leadership roles as you climb the corporate ranks and so on.
12:24
I actually started out my career, not many people know this, in finance.

10 MINS LATER

Tell us a bit about those and how did they manifest? How did they impact you? And then what did you do to get through them?
