Why is it that we struggle to convince a healthcare professional that our pain is real, that we're not imagining it, we're not depressed, we're not being histrionic? Wh- what, what's the root of that?

Individual healthcare staff, the, the GPs that you go and see, are often doing their absolute best, so I don't want this to in any way, um, be a case of speaking badly about people who are working really, really hard.

But it's historical, and that's a big ship to turn around, and it is turning around, but it's taking a really, really long time to turn that big ship.

The NHS was built for men by men and a particular demographic of men.

Only recently women have been included into medical trials, and we've all now, now know that.

But I think, you know, I see people's jaw on the floor when you tell them that, and you think, yeah, you know, um, most of our healthcare has been done on the male Bodies.

So, you know, medication that's available.
