Anybody can pick up on what I've said.
11:23
I got really excited, Sister Rose, when you were giving your introduction there about your use of the word critical.
11:30
Because as you know, at the Association for Media Literacy, and like you so poignantly pointed out, there is no good, bad meeting, right? It's like, how do we bring our critical thinking skills and part of what AML does is help students, teachers, members of society to be critical thinkers.
11:49
And for me as a classroom teacher, that's something that, and a parent, I will say of an 11 year old who is deeply steeped in the digital world, and it is so much a part of like his identity.
12:03
How can I encourage that critical thinking all the time while still validating the spaces in which children live and thrive, right? And I'm wondering, you mentioned in your introduction, and this is just more of a curiosity question, because I have to be honest with you, prior, we did a podcast a while ago on the Media Education Summit, and that's where I had the opportunity to meet with you.
12:28
And prior to attending, being that I'm more new to the media literacy world, I didn't have a full understanding of the Catholic Church's role in supporting media literacy education.
12:38
So I was very fortunate to be able to get some education on that in Rome and be immersed in that.
