So first thing I think about any time a rider gets injured, the first question is, OK, when can I ride? What's the time frame? So what are you thinking about? Do you think realistically we won't see you until 2027 at this point?
3:28
Yeah, I mean, it's going to be hard to come back any sooner than that.
3:31
My goal is to be back on the bike October-ish.
3:34
So, yeah, obviously that's past SMX.
3:38
I would love to do some off-season races this year to kind of get back into the swing of things.
3:44
Yeah, still don't know what that's going to look like, but yeah, I'm excited to get back on the bike.
3:50
But with an injury like this, it's not like a broken arm where like, oh, it's four weeks and you're back.
4:32
So does that maybe change, as you mentioned this year, give you an opportunity to get some gate drops in a situation that you really haven't done in the past? That's something you're thinking about?
8:59
But even that's aggressive rehab.
9:00
Yeah, and plus, like, your ACL is supported by... your quad, your hamstring, your calves.
9:09
There's a lot of things that you can strengthen around your knee to make your ACL.
9:13
Say that a lot of people have torn ACLs and they don't even know it, and they live with them.
9:17
As long as you have a strong lower body, you can get away with not having it.
9:22
So also, it's the same for when you're trying to come back.
9:25
if you're strong in certain like glute, hamstring, quad, um, calf, like all that stuff plays a part.

5 MINS LATER

14:59
All
45:56
Maybe I'm so
45:56
relaxed right now.
45:57
That's better.
45:58
Let's do that.
45:58
But yeah, the ACL.
46:00
acl no i didn't think it was i didn't know if i i mean i never tore my acl so i didn't know what it felt like but i did feel like there was something not right with my with my knee like it was kind of wobbly and kind of shifting um my dad and everyone definitely thought i was on they thought for sure i was just being dramatic all right when i got the acl it was like oh shit that's not good um Yeah, obviously not ideal that the ACL was torn because that is the longest one to yield.
46:30
But as far as, I mean, for me, I'm going to be ready for 2017.
50:03
Seeing it worse, yeah.
10:47
um,
10:48
I just, yeah, not comfortable.
10:50
And there's just kind of riding around to be honest out there.
10:53
I mean, I'm riding as fast as I can, but it is not even close to my pace.
10:57
And I just came back and I lost my cool.
10:59
Definitely wasn't, wasn't very professional of me.
11:02
And it wasn't like, uh, a good look.
13:06
So can we have a, I don't know, Can we have something to shut that up as well? To be
6:03
Yep
6:04
... subpar.
6:05
Um-Um, heat race win.
6:06
I felt good in my heat race.
6:07
I struggled in the whoops all day, but I knew if I could get halfway through the main and start jumping after that, that I have a good shot at winning, especially with what was going on.
6:15
I knew ...
6:16
Obviously, Hunter fell, but I think he was gonna be the one that pushed the pace of the, of the race, obviously.
7:49
Yeah.
21:30
pages do the Supercross bingo.
21:32
No, no, no.
21:33
Well, maybe it was a bingo card where...
21:37
There's, like, different slots you can kind of pick.
21:39
Yeah.
21:39
And it said Chase Sexton top five.
21:42
And someone says, I've never been so questionable for...
23:09
So I didn't know if you were in denial at that point, or...
6:02
Uh, comfy level, eh
6:05
ehNot, not as good as my, my mood level.
6:09
But, um, no, we're, uh, we're trying to get better at ...
6:13
The team was in Florida this week testing.
6:14
We ... [laughs] I rode, like, two hours on the bike on, on Tuesday, I think.
6:19
We tested till, like, 6:45, so hopefully it pays off.
6:23
It's hard to tell, like, in practice, but, um, yeah, we'll see.

9:34
Finally, 81 to now, where's the biggest progress? And actually opposite, where, where, where hasn't there been progress?
25:05
say i'm good at riding like a dirt jumper or bmx jumps i'm decent
25:09
But if you look at somebody that's really good, like one of my buddies, he actually works for Harrison's Mechanic.
25:14
He works for PRMX.
25:15
He is unreal.
25:16
He can backflip.
25:18
I had to stay out of the foam pit last night.
25:20
I wanted to flip a little bit.

10 MINS LATER

35:18
Oh, my
52:34
So how does that, how does that feel right now? Like not having that.
52:39
It honestly feels like I'm, like, a rookie again.
52:43
Like, it feels like I'm kind of, like, coming back into, like, when I started racing in the 250 class.
52:47
I feel like I'm kind of, like, trying to reinsert myself as, like, a guy that can win races and fight for titles, which I think is actually...
52:55
It's kind of fun, because when you...
52:57
I've been fortunate enough to race for championships pretty consistently.
53:01
I mean, obviously, I've only won two, but from the last three years on, I've been pretty consistent.

20 MINS LATER

73:33
It's got to be like so close to where you want it to be.
