Can you tell us a little bit about your journey, um, when you first realized that you may need to go down the path of fertility treatment?

Um, so we had our first child, um, in 2024.

So we were pregnant in 2023, and she was conceived naturally, which is amazing.

Um, we actually were going down the route to see a s- fertility specialist with our first daughter, Pippa, and we had an appointment on the Monday morning to go and see maybe what our options were, and I found out I was pregnant on the Friday beforehand, which is amazing.

So we didn't have to go down that route.

But unfortunately, after we had her, I was quite ill, I suppose, when it came down to just women's health issues.

A lot of trips back and forth to A&E, and a lot of the time it was, the only kinda option to kinda help all my symptoms at the time was birth control, and I just wasn't happy to go on any birth control at the time.

What was the reality like da- today for you?

Is that the same with you, Char, with Marlie?

Yeah, 100%.

I feel like, obviously when I first came to Sarries, I knew that, like, it's gonna be super tough competition, and I came in injured, so I had a, quite a long time to kind of, like, sit back and observe and kind of, like, see what was happening.

And then I just feel like all throughout this season, you know, she's just so good with, like, her little comms.

She's literally kind of, like, the best kind of competition to have because she does just want what's best for the team, and, like, she wants to be her best.

And, like, you are just constantly kind of, like, pushing each other, and I feel like as, like, a young rugby player growing up, never did I think that, like, Marlie Pack would be my teammate, like, let alone my friend.

So, like, it's been super special to build that kind of bond with her, and I'm gonna miss her-
