Um, let's hear about Selma.

Um, well, first of all, thank you all for inviting us into this space.

Um, I am Charles Thomas Jr.

I am the nephew of the, uh, two, uh, foot soldiers that, um, are being conversed about, and I'm also the founder and director of the, the organization that, uh, Lisa spoke of, When You Vote I Win.

Um, there is, um, a, a pretty exhaustive, uh, uh, conversation, dialogue that, uh, went into coming up with the name of the organization, but I don't wanna, uh, fill up the, the short amount of time with, with, with that.

Uh, but the organization is built on the story of my two aunts, two of my father's youngest sisters, who were 14 and 16 and were part of, uh, the civil rights movement, uh, in '64 and '65 under the, uh, tutelage of, uh, John Lewis- Um, and they were involved from, uh, as we would say pillar to post, from beginning to the end.

And I did not know that they were involved in this work.

And I, uh, uh, oh, t- can you tell us briefly about that experience?
