And then what was your process to say, I'm going to start buying property after property so that you can reach that where you can retire and quit your job in less than three years?

Charles Rose Jr.GUEST
So, so when, when I, I looked at all of my expenses, what, and I looked at everything in detail, I love spreadsheets.

Charles Rose Jr.GUEST
So I use an Excel spreadsheet and I went through and look at all of my monthly expenses, car payment, insurance, every single thing that can pop up.

Charles Rose Jr.GUEST
I even look at things like, you know, like one, one-time payments that you pay a year, such as car taxes or, or whatever other one-time payments you, you have subscriptions, you know, You know, sometimes my wife and I, we watch, you know, these programs like Netflix, right? And so all of that, I calculate all of those, all of that down to the penny and determine how much I needed to reach that financial independence number.

Charles Rose Jr.GUEST
And like Dustin say, something that's so important that you also have to consider is saving.

Charles RoseGUEST
Like barbering was almost looked down on, which I never agreed with, but it was almost like barbering was the easy option.

Charles RoseGUEST
Hairdressing was, you know, you've got to become a hairdresser if you want to be a real hairdresser.

Charles RoseGUEST
And when I first qualified, if you like, and started actually just loving shorter hair in general, men's hair, women's hair, quickly realized, actually, no, you know, this short hair you can be very creative with and it isn't an easy option.

Was that something that was part of you, part of your plan? Did it just feel right? Was this something that you sat down and went, doing an academy, this is how we're doing it?
