Does having the law and society, having seen him develop, knowing his condition, does that sort of adulthood responsibility and legal self-awareness become automatic? No.

I wish it did.

So, you know, one of the things that we had to do was get him court of protection.

So you get him court of protection, which ultimately gives his mum and I the sort of authority to make both financial and medical decisions on his behalf, because he's not capable of doing it.

And, you know, financial decisions on his behalf is obviously he gets money from the state, but he's also inherited money from various grandparents, which is invested.

So ultimately, we have to have responsibility for that.
